Bay Area Lava is an established D1 AAU basketball program based in the Tri Valley area.
We have a very competitive tryout process.

Bay Area Lava Tryout Expectations
Arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm-up.
Follow instructions from the coach. Be able to retain the information from the coach while performing drills.
Perform drills with maximum effort. Challenge and push yourself out of your comfort zone.
Be vocal on the court. Possess leadership qualities by encouraging your teammates.
Have a firm understanding of the rules of the game and display a willingness to increase your knowledge of the game.
Embrace the physicality on offense and defense. Do not shy away from contact. Pursue loose balls and rebounds.
Have the discipline to stay focused. Use this time to your advantage.
