Tryout Information

Bay Area Lava is an established D1 AAU basketball program based in the Tri Valley area.

We have a very competitive tryout process. Tryouts are free to attend.

Fall/Winter Tryouts: August 19 and August 21 - St Elizabeth Church (Pleasanton)

2nd to 4th Grade: 5:30 to 6:30

5th to 6th Grade: 6:30 to 7:30

7th to 8th Grade: 7:30 to 8:30

Bay Area Lava Tryout Expectations

• Arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm-up.

• Follow instructions and retain information from the coach.

• Perform drills with maximum effort. Challenge and push your comfort zone.

• Be vocal on the court. Possess leadership qualities by encouraging teammates.

• Embrace the physicality on offense/defense and aggressively pursue rebounds and loose balls
