AAU Program

Bay Area Lava was established to be a highly competitive AAU travel basketball program in the Tri Valley Area.

Our focus is on the athlete’s development through hard work and discipline.

Season Goals:

  • Compete in competitive D1 tournaments throughout NorCal to prepare our athletes for Middle and High School.

  • Continue to build our Bay Area network in order to provide the best additional resources to our players.

  • Team Events: Coordinate numerous team events: Pool/BBQ parties, attend local high school and college games, and team dinners.

  • Utilize social media platforms to provide exposure to our program and our players.

Program Fees:

  • We believe in delivering a high quality product at an affordable rate.

  • 4 Month Season Fee: $550 ($1,650 per year).

Practice Structure:

  • Provide flexibility by offering multiple practice days throughout the week to attend.

  • Practices range from 1.5 to 2 hours.

  • Practice Locations: Castro Valley, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and San Ramon

  • Workouts include high intensity drills for individual and team development, placing a focus on competitive environment.

Weekend Structure:

  • We typically compete in 2-3 tournaments a month.

  • Tournament locations include: Alameda, Castro Valley, Hayward, Oakland, Walnut Creek, and other East Bay Locations
